Redefining Comfort and Function in the Uplands

The Final Rise Legacy System is the latest and most innovative Strap Vest design on the market. With a desire to deliver quality and life long lasting upland gear, FINAL RISE set out to raise the bar and create a premium upland strap vest utilizing the latest advances in materials, components and design.

What separates the FINAL RISE System from other Strap Vests on the Market?

WEIGHT - 2.5 lbs lighter than other Strap Vests

The old saying goes, ounces equal pounds and pounds equal pain. The older I get, the more that saying rings true! It doesn’t matter if you’re hunting chukar, prairie chickens or thick grouse cover, weight matters. At just over 2 lbs, empty, our vest, as a complete system, is on average 2-3 lbs lighter than anything else available without jeopardizing the quality and lifetime value of the product. What does 2 lbs really mean though? It means you can carry almost a full extra liter of water BEFORE your vest weighs as much as another when it’s empty.

The FINAL RISE Legacy delivers a true, minimalist platform, without jeopardizing  comfort or function in the field.

MODULARITY & CUSTOMIZABLE LAYOUT - Your Vest. Your Way.

There is no such thing as ‘one size fits all’ when it comes to any hunting gear.. We have our style, our way and once we find something we like, and works, it’s hard to switch it up. Trust us, we get it. We’re just like you.

Because we understand the need to create a system that functions perfectly for your needs, the Legacy vest is the perfect platform that includes all the essential parts you’ll need.

WAIST BELT - True Weight Bearing for Comfort & Balance

The foundation of any strap vest should be the waist belt. That is afterall the theory behind a strap vest, as the shoulder straps are the most minimal part of the system and that the waist belt should hold the weight, balance the bag front to back and deliver comfort. Without a proper fitting waist belt that is truly weight bearing, the design is mute. Our contoured hip hugging waist belt provides unmatched comfort all while holding  your system rock steady. Combined with our Lumbar pad, a Final Rise Exclusive design, you won't find a better fitting or more comfortable vest.

SHOULDER STRAPS - Streamline and Unobstructive

If there’s one thing you shoulder straps should NEVER do, it’s impede proper gun mount. Mount the gun wrong and it’s an ice cube's chance in hell you’ll kock a few birds down out of the covey you just hiked 5 miles to find. The FINAL RISE shoulder straps are minimal yet functional asset to the vest and when properly adjusted, leave your shoulder clear for an easy mount.

Additionally, each shoulder strap has 2 rows of horizontal webbing that ride just above the semi-tacky material that sits on the front of the vest, just above the sternum strap. Perfect for hanging handhelds and other accessories that you like to keep on your chest and at the ready at all times.

SHELL POCKETS - Simple and Functional

If there’s one part of your vest that gets used, it’s the shell pockets. In and out, in and out, shoot, reload.. Repeat 10000000’s of times.

The Legacy shell pockets are the classic, tried and true, flap top pocket. The deep pockets allow minimal weight within them to act as a counter balance to any birds or heavier essentials that make it way into your bag. Super easy to access, super easy to use.

Our pockets are both large enough for gloved hands. Shell Pockets are also a great storage compartment when balancing the vest and fits a full sized camera when a reasonably sized lens.

BUILT IN DOG CARRIER - A lifeline when emergency strikes

The reality is that the gear we use and carry is mostly for our dogs. Water, first aid kits, multi-tools and more.. all to ensure we're prepared for when 'crap' happens.

During the design and testing phases, it was critical for us to construct the vest so that it could carry a heavy load, in case a dog became injured. By designing the way our game bag closed and connected to the shoulder harness, we created an innovative way to open the bag, place the torso/mid section of the dog between the panels and then simply close the bag, connect to the harness and hustle back to the truck.

Not having to leave your gun or gear afield in a mad dash and securely carrying the dog to receive aid can make a less than ideal day afield, better.

    Short and sweet
    Format: Kindle
Beautifully written, I was worried when it was labelled as a novella at the start, really used to those missing info and jumping forward to complete the story or not having complete character growth, not to worry! Author gave enough time to fall in love (and hate) with everyone, can't wait to read Wendy's story I feel like she will be the badass we all love!

Likeable characters, but only 75% complete story
    Format: Kindle
I really liked the characters introduced, but the author didn’t fully conceptualize everything. We know Lila works long hours, but despite being a college graduate we never learn anything about what she does, where she works, how much she gets paid, etc. For an omega who seemed to be able to support herself, that seemed an unusual oversight. We learn absolutely nothing about what she wants in life, either. Is she just surviving the post-college life struggle or working up to her dream job? Fiona the flamingo had more detail than some of the main characters, but she was 10/10 as good as Wendy for a side character. — spoilers ahead —- Separately, some of the plot details were contradictory, or just missing. On one page Lila and Larry were together for 18 months, on another it was 4 years. When did she even move in with him? What did she do while he was gaming? How long were she and Wendy friends for Lila to trust her like that but not know much about her? And why didn’t Lila’s alphas sue Larry to reduce Lila’s debt? Shopping seemed a weird choice pamper her without knowing more about Lila’s debt and plans to reduce it. And her alphas never even ask anything about her job, but she’s The One. Such a frustrating relationship plot hole. We never even learn anything about the alphas’ families or what they want in life either. I wish the author had written about 30 more pages fleshing out the details and showing how the alphas were just as in love with Lila’s personality as they were with her scent and body. Loved the concept, but I still feel like I read 3/4 of a book.

    It's mid
    Format: Kindle
There's a cute story there. The guys are sweet, but... I don't know. It's very vanilla. Not just the mediocre spicy scenes, but the whole story. It's just ok.

Short, cute, straight to the point
    Format: Kindle
This is the type of fast pace stories I love to read. I felt nothing felt incomplete. Everything went together. Loved the men loved the best friend and the Fmc. Definitely would recommend this book.

Fun, Steamy, and Just Enough Depth
    Format: Kindle
I liked this book — it was cute, short, and exactly what I expected from a quick Omegaverse read. While it doesn’t dive too deeply into character development, there was enough personality and backstory sprinkled in to keep the relationships believable and engaging, especially given the length. What I really appreciated was that the focus stayed on the main characters and their connection. The heat, the banter, and the romance were front and center without getting bogged down in unnecessary drama. It made for an easy, enjoyable read that flowed smoothly from start to finish. I’m looking forward to the next book in the series. There was a teaser blurb at the end, but it isn’t up on Amazon yet — hopefully it’ll be posted soon so I can add it to my wish list.
